Orthodontic Alumni Lecture on Clear Aligners

The Department of Orthodontics organized an Orthodontic PG alumni lecture on Clear Aligners on the 30th of December 2023. The resource person for the program was Dr.Sivakumar A, an alumni from the 2004 batch of postgraduates of the department. He is currently serving as the Associate Dean (Quality), and Associate Professor at the School of Dentistry, International Medical University, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Dr Sivakumar discussed his journey in private practice which he successfully established 20 years ago and emphasized his experience with using Clear aligners for orthodontic treatment. He also exhibited an excellent series of cases managed with aligners in his clinic. 

The program was graced by the presence of our Associate Deans Dr Vidya Saraswati M and Dr Shashi Rashmi Acharya and witnessed active participation from Postgraduates and interns of our college involving 49 participants.
