On 28th August, MAHESRF inaugurated a new programme of online series called as WEBISODES. Season 1 , Episode 1 was  a webinar titled-“Dental Research and Science: Pursuing a career beyond 32 teeth” by Dr.Sanjana Patrick . It was open to students from all the years. With the help of Dr. Arathi Rao- Alumni Co-ordinator and Deputy Director Student Affairs ( DDSA-Mangalore Campus) this event was done in collaboration with ARMCODS , Mangalore. With the support of the Pro-Vice Chancellor ( Mangalore campus), Dean, Associate Deans, Head of the departments , Staff members  and Staff mentors- it was conducted successfully on Microsoft Teams. The event started at 12:15 pm and was attended by approximately 268 participants. Dr. Sanjana Patrick is an alumni of 2004 batch of Manipal College of dental sciences , Mangalore campus. Currently she is working as a Manager at Healthcare Biocon Foundation and is a Research fellow at KLES’ Institute of Dental Sciences,Bangalore. Maam  very systematically and patiently explained the workflow of Biocon Foundation and how the foundation alongwith various collaborations  is reaching the people in the remote areas of Bangalore and adjacent areas to diagnose precancerous lesions, spread awareness and prevent the transformation to cancerous lesion. She listed the various research projects she is working in order to serve the people. Students were free to ask questions/doubts and it was clarified very meticulously by maam. The welcome address was given by Dr.Siddhant Aggarwal, President -MAHESRF  and the event was moderated by  Dr Shohini Saha-Vice president  , MAHESRF. After all the discussions, the event got over by 1:30 pm and the participants were filled with motivation, contentment and positive reviews for the event.
