An Interactive session for the interns with Dr Manu Alexander was organized on 20th December 2016 at Lecture Hall 1, MCODS, Mangalore, Attavar campus from 11:00 am – 12:00pm. Dr Manu Alexander is an alumni of MCODS, Mangalore (Batch of 1991) who is currently a general dental practitioner in Tucson Arizona, USA. This session aimed at providing interns with information regarding the prospects of dentistry in US.
The session began with Dr Manu sharing his experiences about pursuing his studies in the United States of America. He spoke about the process of writing the National boards examination, applying to dental colleges in US and finally about his dental course in the US. This was followed by an interactive question and answer session, were the interns asked Dr Manu their doubts and queries regarding the scenario of dentistry, applying for further studies and private practice management in the US.
This session was concluded by presenting a certificate of appreciation to Dr Manu Alexander and vote of thanks
