Patient effective dose evaluation for chest radiography using the Digital Radiography System

2014-01-01 Zahra

Digital radiography; form of X-ray imaging, where digital X-ray sensors are used in order to produce an image. It is a step ahead of computerised radiography method allowing the x-ray exposures to be made faster, easier and by the use of flat panel detectors and automated exposure controls. Digital radiography has replaced the conventional and CR methods of obtaining radiographs in many radiology departments. In this study Chest x-ray doses are compared in two different modes used in DR.s
