Dr P. G. Aquinas, Chairman & Professor, Post-Graduate Department of Studies and Research in Social Work, Mangalore University, Mangalore on the topic “Power and Politics” for the I year MBA students. as part of the course on Organisational Behaviour on 7th December, 2016 at School of Management, Manipal Academy of Higher Education. Dr Aquinas spoke on the sources of power and how power can be positively used in an organisation. Speaking about the politics, he highlighted that politics is required when the power is less, giving the example of Mahatma Gandhi, how he had lead the nation to the freedom with only politics. Porf. Suraj Francis Noronha, Assistant Professor, School of Management welcomed the gathering and introduced the guest. Mr Arun Kumar Ganjihal, Student - I MBA, SOM and Mr Saajan M. S. , Student - I MBA, SOM proposed the vote of thanks.
