HR Club Inauguration

The inauguration of “HORIZON” the HR club of School of Management was held on August 29, 2018 at Yamuna Class Room. Mr. Shrinath Samaga, former alumna of Manipal Institute of Management, Manager-HR Hinduja Global Solutions, Mangalore was the chief guest. The function started with the national anthem followed by invocation by Ms. Rakshitha.
While talking to the gathering the guest highlighted the need of people management skills for any managers to survive in the industry. Through a story Mr. Shrinath explained how students should mold themselves to face the challenges of the corporate world.
Prof.Ranjith spoke about the importance of having club activities at the institute level and how it helps the students to imbibe those competencies which are required by the industry. Ms. Katha Sumangal Naik, President of the HR club introduced the club members and presented an overview of the Club activities. Ms. Ankita Das, President introduced the guest to the gathering.
The HR club of School of Management has planned to organize various activities which will help the students to enhance their employability. With this in mind the club has planned activities like HR conclave, interclass debate, Career guidance for colleges in and around Udupi, best manager event and a resume writing workshop.
Ms. Prathiksha was the master of ceremony and Ms. Angel Joy proposed the vote of thanks.
