The HR Conclave - HoRizon

The Human Resource Management Club (Horizon) conducted its inaugural function named “Conclave” .The activity was conducted on 3 rd. of December, at MIT Auditorium. The aim of the event was to launch the club. The chief guests of the activity was Mr.Bharathan Prahalad, Global Head-HR, People First and Dr.Narayana Sabhahit, Registrar of Manipal Academy of Higher Education. The program was also facilitated by Dr. Raveendranath Nayak, Director of School of Management and Dr.Lakshminarayan, the head of the HR Club. Mr.Laksminarayan disclosed about the events of conclave for the academic year 2015-16 and for the academic year as well.Mr.Prahalad spoke on the topic “Agile HR”.He emphasised on proactive and reactive HR. He also spoke about the lifestyle changes in different age groups and linked it to organization growth to name a few. The program was also graced by Professor.Navin Kumar, Professor.Suraj Francis Noronha , School of Management and the other staff members .The master of ceremony was Mr.Shashank Suryakanth.The program was followed by stress interview and cultural events. The students of the 1st and the 2nd year actively participated in the event. The program was spread throughout the whole day .The students took the initiative and participated in the various events, with great enthusiasm and desire. The event ended with songs and entertainment. Finally the Swachha Raksha Program concluded with Dr.Lakhminarayanan thanking all the staff and the students present at the event and assured that his club, which is led by Mr. Kalvin, President of Human Resource Management Club (Horizon) would conduct many such events in the months to follow.
