Guest Talk on "How to Read the Balance Sheet?"

A guest lecture on “How to read the balance sheet?” was organized by the student club of School of Management on 28th November 2017. CA Lokesh Shetty was the resource person for the guest lecture. He discussed the importance of analyzing a balance sheet and emphasized on the primary reasons for any business to sustain financially. He also touched upon two basic rules every young entrepreneurs must be aware of before considering any new investment plan. Sample balance sheets were circulated among the students to instil better clarity towards the subject considering certain aspects like short term/long term sources and investments.
