Dr. Suhaj Abdulsalim, Assistant Professor, College of Pharmacy, Qassim University, Saudi Arabia, delivered a guest talk on "Problem-Solving Model in Pharmacy" on the 23 July 2024 from 11:30 AM at Dept. of Pharmacy Practice-MCOPS, Kasturba Hospital, Manipal. He is a faculty alumnus of MCOPS from 2012 to 2016. During the talk, Dr. Suhaj said, “Making decisions and solving problems are critical responsibilities of all pharmacists, whether they are managers/leaders or staff members.” He shared his professional experience as an international academic pharmacist and motivated students to practice problem-based learning. During his talk, he discussed different problem models, barriers to good problem-solving and decision-making, and steps in problem-solving. The event was organized by the Pharmacy Literacy Club (PLC), Centre for Public Health Pharmacy, Dept. of Pharmacy Practice, MCOPS.
