Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences in association with Manipal-GoK Bioincubator-BioNEST, its Student Entrepreneurship Cell and other Knowledge partners, invite students from your esteemed institute to participate in MANIPAL BIOPHARMA HACKATHON 2023 scheduled in the month of October 2023.  Manipal BioPharma Hackathon 2023 is designed with the vision of promoting student innovations, Start-Up creation, and encouraging critical thinking to address critical and unsolved needs of the Pharma/BioPharma domain. Manipal - Government of Karnataka Bioincubator, is established with support of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Government of Karnataka and DBT’s BIRAC. 

Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), MAHE, Manipal is celebrating its Diamond Jubilee Year of foundation during 2023 and is one of the premier institutes of pharmaceutical education and research in India with position #101-150 in QS World University Ranking 2023, Rank 9 in NIRF 2022 and Rank 3 in Career 360 Ranking 2022. 

The Hackathon will be virtual, with mentoring session conducted entirely on Microsoft Teams, commencing from the 04th October to 26th October 2023, and the final pitching and evaluation will be on 27th October 2023.  The event is open for all students (team of 5 and a mentor), currently enrolled in any academic institutions (UG/PG/Doctoral). Individuals without teams also are welcome to form multi-disciplinary teams of their own, by registering individually and connecting with other solo registrants of the event. 

There are attractive awards to be won, including prize money up to INR 1 lakh, pre-incubation for 6 months, and seed funding up to INR 25 Lakhs. The participants also get technical sessions and mentoring. We’d like to invite the students of your Institute/University to take part in the Pan-India, virtual Manipal BioPharma Hackathon 2023.
