Adarsh Gopinathan, a Research Scholar (ICMR-SRF) in the Department of Pharmacology at Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), Manipal, has been awarded a travel grant under the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) International Travel Support (ITS) Scheme. This grant will support him in attending the Brain Tumour Conference organized by Cancer Research UK in London, UK, from 24 to 26 September 2024. The grant covers the airfare, visa charges, and registration fees for the conference.
At the Brain Tumour Conference, Adarsh will be presenting his research on upregulation of neprilysin via HDAC1 inhibition to treat glioblastoma. Mr. Adarsh is doing his PhD under the guidance of Dr. Anoop Kishore, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacology at MCOPS, MAHE, Manipal, and the Co-guide is Dr. K. Sreedhara Ranganath Pai, Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at MCOPS, MAHE, Manipal.
