In commemoration of Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, the students of Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS) gathered on 26th November 2024 to honour the foundational principles of India’s democracy. This day holds special significance as it marks the adoption of the Constitution of India in 1949.

Under the able guidance of the faculty members, the students collectively read The Preamble of the Constitution, reaffirming their commitment to uphold the values enshrined in it. The solemn occasion began with an introduction to the importance of Constitution Day, highlighting the democratic ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

Following the reading of The Preamble, a pledge was taken, wherein students vowed to contribute towards the betterment of the nation and uphold the spirit of the Constitution in their personal and professional lives.

The event served as a reminder of the shared responsibilities and rights as citizens of the country. Faculty members emphasized the significance of understanding the Constitution not merely as a legal document but as a guiding framework for a progressive and inclusive society.
