Dr. Prakash Bhagav, Ph.D., Senior Pharmacologist/ Reviewer, Office of Bioequivalence, Office of Generic Drugs, Centre for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), USFDA, Silver Spring, MD, USA., delivered a guest lecture on the topic “Academic/Research Excellence for Successful Professional Career” on 10 February 2023 at Lecture Hall No. 27, Dept. of Pharmaceutics, MCOPS.  The event was organized by the Department of Pharmaceutics, MAHE, Manipal. Dr. Bhagav shared his views on the need for academic excellence for the students and, the importance of publications, attending conferences, and training programs for overall professional growth. The talk was well received by the audience. The PG students and Research Scholars interacted with Dr. Bhagav and clarified their doubts regarding the career selection. Dr. Srinivas Mutalik, Professor and Head, and Dr. Usha Y Nayak, Associate Professor-Senior Scale, Department of Pharmaceutics coordinated the program.
