Dr Raveendra Pai, alumnus of Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), MAHE received the prestigious “Rising Star of the Year” award at Formulation Development and Drug Delivery (FDD) Conclave held recently at Hyderabad. Dr Pai is currently heading formulation development as vice president at Glenmark Pharmaceutical Ltd. FDD Conclave is an initiative of Indian Express group through their pharma oriented division- express pharma to gather formulation scientists from various reputed pharma industries. This provides a platform to share knowledge and recognize work in formulation development. During the FDD conclave, Express Pharma recognized Dr Pai’s contribution and awarded him under the Category “Rising Star of the Year”

Dr Pai is also appointed as adjunct faculty in the department of pharmaceutics, MCOPS.
