Let novel thoughts come from all the corners of the world”- was the message given by Dr. G Jagadeesh during his guest lecture on the topic-‘Publication, a gateway to institution’s world ranking and researcher’s dominance in the field’.

He deliberated upon various aspects of journal selection, types of publications, and must-have statements in writing a manuscript. Dr. Jagadeesh guided the participants through the sojourn of publishing research papers and in a nutshell explained the entire process that goes into a publication that would boost the rankings of an institute.

Dr. G Jagadeesh is a senior expert pharmacologist at CDER, USFDA, USA. Department of pharmacology at Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, The guest lecture was conducted through MS teams on 2 July 2022 from 4 to 7 pm IST. Over 100 participants attended the online lecture and had a fruitful interaction with the resource person.
