Dr Bobby George, Vice President & Group Head of Regulatory Affairs at Reliance Life Sciences, Mumbai gave an overview on the rise of pharma giant- Sun Pharma in his guest lecture titled, “Sun Pharma and its Tryst with FDA: Case Study” on 28 October, 2022 [2:30 to 3:30 pm IST]. He laid impetus on the acquisitions and good regulatory practices followed for manufacturing drugs. A detailed presentation was delivered on the tryst that Sun Pharma had with USFDA citing classic examples of observations and warning letters. The session was interactive and an overwhelming response was received from the audience comprising post-graduates, research scholars and faculty members of department of pharmacology. Dr Bobby George is an MCOPS alumnus who passed BPharm in 1992.
