Dr Suvarna G Kini, Professor and Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry was awarded Prof. LVG Nargund Research Excellence Award in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, by APTI during the 26^th APTICON 2023 held at Kanpur during 2&3 September, for research contribution in the field of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. This award is given to Pharmaceutical Scientist, Teachers who are pursuing research and also working in Award Pharmaceutical Industry, Research Institutions, University and PCI/AICTE recognized institutions, who has BPharm / MPharm / PhD from a recognized University or any other equivalent qualification recognized by Pharmacy Council of India and having Ten years of teaching experience after completion of MPharm with age above 40 (forty) years as on last date of submission of application prescribed by APTI. The candidate should be a life member of APTI for a minimum period of five years. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 10,000/-, a memento and a citation. Dr Kini received this prestigious award from PCI President, Dr Montu Patel as well as from President and Vice President of APTI.
