During the 25^th APTI annual conference held at JSS AHER Mysuru between 2-4 September 2022, Dr. C Mallikarjuna Rao, Principal, MCOPS was awarded with the prestigious APTI Dr. N Udupa Manipal Award for Pharmacy Teacher of Eminence. Dr. Rao has been heading Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences since 2013 and is key instrumental in taking MCOPS to greater heights. A teacher-par-excellence, research enthusiast, and efficient administrator, together with his team, have successfully raised funds to above 20 crore rupees in the last one and a half decades in MCOPS, Manipal. Till now Dr. Rao has built an h-index of more than 27 by Scopus and an i10 index of more than 75 through his publications.
