As part of MCOPS Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the Center for Pharmaceutical Skill Development (CPSD), MCOPS, MAHE, Manipal, in association with Life Science Skill Development Council (LSSDC), APTI-Karnataka, and APTI-Uttar Pradesh State Branch, organized the Teachers' Skill Empowerment Series, 2023 on the topic " Blended Learning " on Monday, 25 September 2023, via MS Teams. The event featured Dr GSN Koteswara Rao, Professor and Head of Department of Pharmaceutics, Shobhaben Pratapbhai Patel School of Pharmacy and Technology Management, SVKMs, NMIMS University, Mumbai, India, as the resource person. The program commenced at 3 pm, marking the beginning of an insightful session.  

The talk provided a comprehensive exploration of how the principle of ‘Blended Learning’ offers a flexible and individualised educational experience by fusing traditional classroom instruction with interactive learning. It combines technology with in-person encounters, such as learning management systems and digital materials. This strategy improves engagement, accommodates various learning preferences, and gives teachers the ability to use data to support students more effectively.   

Over 150 teachers from diverse educational institutions attended the session. The audience were engaged with a lively Q&A session and clarification session on the topic.
