Partner in Research from Down Under visits MCOPS

Dr. Devinder Arora, Lecturer, Griffith University, Gold Coast campus, Australia, visited Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences from 02June-11 June, 2016. Dr. Arora was on his tenure as adjunct faculty. As part of active research collaboration between MCOPS and Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia, he interacted and trained the postgraduate students and research scholars of Department of Pharmacology, MCOPS. He also helped to develop various devices to screen molecules for anxiety and depression. Dr. Arora explained various behavioural parameters in animals and the critical methods for their assessment. Further, Dr. Arora spent quality time with the faculty of Department of Pharmacology. He expressed his approval of the course content of undergraduate (BPharm) and postgraduate (MPharm) programmes.
