'Merit is the only dictum for admissions in MAHE', says Dr Ballal during the PG orientation programme

Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS) organized the orientation programme for MPharm freshmen on July 18, 2018. The program was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr H S Ballal, Pro-Chancellor, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE). Dr C Mallikarjuna Rao, Principal welcomed the gathering and gave an overview of the Master’s programme.
Dr Ballal in his inaugural address expressed gratitude for choosing MCOPS as a destination to pursue MPharm. He mentioned about the silver jubilee celebration of MAHE in the year 2018 and cherished the status of Institute of Eminence. MAHE is at the top, both in the national and international arena, due to the quality of employees, faculty members, students and the state-of-the-art infra-structure, exhorted Dr Ballal. Merit is the only motto for getting into MAHE, he said. He advised students to utilize the facilities and to explore the opportunities in the campus.
Dr M Sreenivasa Reddy, Vice Principal, MCOPS, Dr N Udupa, Director-Research (Health Sciences) and Col Badri Narayanan, Director Purchase, MAHE graced the function. Dr D Sreedhar, faculty of pharmacy management, provided information regarding student placement. Later, sessions on paperless digital examination, student life cycle management and research activities of MAHE were conducted
