Post Graduate students bag second prize in ANVESHAN, organized by Research Division of Association of Indian Universities

‘ANVESHAN’ - A National Level Student Research Convention was organized by Research Division of Association of Indian Universities during 14 and 15 February, 2017 at Tumkur. This convention aims at identifying young and bright talents who would be promoted through proper encouragement and incentives. Also, an attempt shall be made to commercialize their research projects with industrial collaboration, said the mentors.
A three-member student team comprising, Mr. Nazare Lobo John Shane, Ms. Gude Sai Sushmitha & Mr. Ashish Hanumantrao Chamle from Department of Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance mentored by Mr. Muddukrishna B.S, Dr. Vasantharaju, Dr. Krishnamurthy Bhat & Dr. Girish Pai K, faculty, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences secured the second prize for their innovation, titled, “DESIGN, FABRICATION AND QUALIFICATION OF INDIGENOUSLY BUILT PHOTO STABILITY CHAMBER” in Phase II competition (South Zone) under Basic Sciences category held at Tumkur University, Karnataka. Currently, the students stand qualified for Phase III (National level) from the South zone Universities. Earlier, the team received Certificate of Appreciation on Innovation day, organized by Manipal Academy of Higher Education in MIT campus held in December 2016. The team qualified successfully among the 25 innovative research projects from different institutes of Manipal Academy of Higher Education in Phase I held in Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal
