Interaction with Alumnus Mr Ritesh Roshan Chaudhary

Mr. Ritesh Roshan Chaudhary, Key Account Manager at Novo Nordisk, India, and Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences Alumnus interacted with the post-graduate second-semester students of the Department of Pharmacy Management on Apr 08, 2022. During the session, Mr. Chaudhary, with vast experience of over a decade in Sales, differentiated between sales and marketing functions in the industry. With an emphasis on distinguishing between sales and marketing, he mentioned about skills each of these domains requires from pharma graduates. Mr. Ritesh also mentioned about qualities and traits that an individual should have for a successful career in both sales and marketing. During his interaction, students clarified their doubts and learned about various aspects of pharmaceutical sales and marketing functions. The discussion that lasted for about an hour was well received by students as they learned about skills and the importance of upskilling from an industry expert.
