New regulations, healthcare expenditure cuts and advances in manufacturing techniques have determined the appearance of a new market for biosimilars, which is comparable to that of generic drugs. This QIP will equip the participants with the required expertise and knowledge about the challenging biological and biosimilar molecules.
Objectives of the QIP:
1. To understand the quality specifications and regulations of biosimilar and biologicals.
2. To appreciate the challenges involved in discovery, engineering and evaluation of biopharmaceuticals.
3. To analyse market dynamics of biopharmaceuticals globally.
