The day began with ZOOM live meet by Friends and Students of Dr Aparna Bhaduri on her birthday, 29.12.2020. Commemorate her birth anniversary is like a flow of live memories just a moment passed. Tribute album as “Collage of Memoirs” was released by Dr Prakashamma, the coordinator of the event from Hyderabad. The album has tributes written by Dr Bhaduri’s professional colleagues and senior students. Tributes written by some of her students of Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, her students from military nursing service and also her contemporary stalwarts in India.
This album speaks volumes on the life and events of Dr Bhaduri. Her journey as a steadfast and dedicated teacher, a rock of support that can never be erased from the minds of her pupils and friends. Ten long years of service at MCON made faculty and students able to stand out prominently and distinctly. We owe her the best gift of love, affection and our humble prayers. The event of celebration of her birthday included bestowing the research awards to the winners of the research presentations web series and presenting tribute album and cake cutting.
Dean, Dr Anice George narrated the captions of expressions dedicated to Dr Aparna Bhaduri by each faculty and students who had been her pupil of that time and followed by a hearty cake cutting ceremony with heavenly songs rejoicing the greatness of a nurse, once lived for the footprints of the rest. Dr Anice George, Dean, and Dr Judith A Noronha, Associate Dean jointly cut the cake of happiness in the presence of the faculty at Manipal, 29.12.2020, a day of remembrance to be followed.
