Alumni Guest Lecture Series – 13/2020
As part of effective alumni engagement, Manipal School of Nursing, MCON, MAHE organized a guest lecture on Acute Coronary Syndrome by Mrs Mintee Raghunathan, Clinical Nurse Manager, St. James Hospital, Dublin, Ireland on November 04, 2020 between 3.00 to 4.00 p.m through MS Team platform. A total of 92 participants including 77 diploma nursing students and 15 faculty members attending the session.
Mrs Mintee shared her views and experience regarding the care of patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome. She discussed the various protocols and interventional modalities used in the management of patients with ST-segment abnormalities. She also stressed on the importance of regular updating of knowledge by reading books, pursuing higher studies and attending relevant short-term courses. The session was informative and interactive with discussion and clarification of doubts.
