Report of the virtual Session on Effective ways to accept tough situations in life

As part of 75 years of India's independence - Bharath ka Amrut Mahotsav the health and social welfare committee of Student Nurses' Association, Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal organized a virtual session on the topic, “Effective Ways to Accept Tough Situations in Life” for undergraduate students of Manipal College of Nursing Manipal, through MS Teams platform on September 24, 2021, from 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm.

Dr Rayan Mathias, the MAHE student counsellor, MAHE, Manipal was the speaker for the session. He explained the ways to face tough situations by giving various examples of people who struggled in their life due to their disabilities but worked hard and reached a great height. He emphasized the importance of seeking for help when faced with difficult situations, which can be a sign of strength and courage and developing a plan to deal with the situation. Ms Sona Sabu, the III Year BSc Nursing student, welcomed the participants and introduced the speaker. Ms Deeksha, the chairperson of the Health and Social Welfare Committee, Student Nurses' Association, Manipal College of Nursing coordinated the programme. Students were guided by Mrs Prima J J D'Souza, Assistant Professor from Manipal College of Nursing.
