Guest Lecture on "Guidance and Counselling”

Department of Psychiatric (Mental Health) Nursing, Manipal College of Nursing, Manipal organized a Guest Lecture on “Guidance and Counselling” on 7th September 2020 between 9:30 am & 10:45 am as part of Student Induction Program for students admitted to the various courses offered by the college for the academic year 2020-21 through Microsoft Teams Platform. Ms. Venkata Prafulla Regireddy, Consultant Psychologist, working at Student Support Centre (SSC), MAHE spoke on the topic. She spoke on the importance of mental health, warning signs of mental illness, need for guidance and counselling and various issues faced by today's youth. Ms. Prafulla also briefed on the services provided by SSC to the students of MAHE. She said students are most welcome to visit the centre at any time whenever they feel they need guidance on any matter.
