Report on Extempore Competition

The SNA Education Committee of the Manipal College of Nursing, MAHE, Manipal, conducted an Extempore competition on the 25th of October 2024, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Seminar Hall, 2nd floor, MCON.

Extempore is an art of spontaneous brilliance, where participants engage in a mental sprint to generate, evaluate, and express their ideas on spontaneous topics with confidence, clarity, and creativity.

The competition saw enthusiastic participation from 25 students, who presented their respective topics to the judges, Dr. Anil Raj, faculty member of the Medical Surgical Nursing Department, and Ms. Jessicca Banz, faculty member of the Child Health Nursing Department, MCON, MAHE.

The first place was secured by Ms. Riya Elizabeth from the 7th semester of B.Sc. Nursing. The second place was secured by Mr. Arnold Mokshith from the 5th semester of B.Sc. Nursing, and the third place was secured by Ms. Rosemi Ann Reji, also from the 5th semester of B.Sc. Nursing.
