Collaboration Series- 3 “Simulation based learning experience during COVID 19 Pandemic”

Department of Fundamentals of Nursing, Manipal College of Nursing (MCON), MAHE, Manipal and Department of Nursing, Edge Hill University, UK organized Academic Student Collaboration Series- 3 on “Simulation-based learning experience during COVID 19 Pandemic” on 7th September 2021 between 3.30 pm & 5.30 pm through MS Teams Virtual Platform.

Ms Emma Grady and Ms Rowan Chalmers, III Year BSc Nursing students from Edge Hill University shared a video recording of the MEWS chart assessment which included pre-briefing, process and debriefing with the group of students and instructor. Ms Kezia Marium and Ms Sandra Mariam of III Year BSc Nursing from MCON shared a video recording of the Pressure Sore Assessment using the Braden scale for junior group students. Dr Radhika, Assistant Professor from MCON and Dr Tony Bewley, Senior Lecturer from Edge Hill briefed on the teaching-learning experiences in the clinical facility during COVID 19 Pandemic.

Ms Crystal Venessa Noronha thanked the gathering. A total of 53 participants (37 national and 16 international) from both MAHE and Edge Hill University participated in this event.
