Workshop on “Appreciative Inquiry (AI): Reality and Research”

A half-day workshop on Appreciative Inquiry (AI): Reality and Research was organized by the Department of Fundamentals of Nursing, MCON, MAHE Manipal on 09.09.2022 between 9.30 am and 12.30 pm in the GFATM classroom of MCON. The Resource Person for the workshop was Dr. Toni Bewley, the Adjunct faculty of MCON and Senior Lecturer, School of Nursing, Edgehill University.  

Dr. Toni in her talk introduced the Appreciative Inquiry (AI) as a research methodology with examples of various situations where this method can be applied. In continuation with the discussion on this method, she presented her research findings which were conducted with the appreciative inquiry method. She urged the participants to initiate this method for conducting research studies and for improving organizational productiveness by positive reinforcement of the AI approach. 

This workshop was attended by 21 Faculty members and Research Scholars from MCON and  3 students from Edgehill University.
