Continuous Nursing Education by Alumni
A session on “Constructing effective quality multiple-choice questions – A real challenge for academicians” was organized by the department of child health nursing on 21st August 2020 at MCON, Manipal (through Microsoft team). Dr Manjushambika Rajagopal, Faculty, College of Nursing, Public Health Authority of Applied Education and Training, Kuwait discussed how to construct effective quality multiple-choice questions, the uses of MCQs, how to frame the questions in the different levels of cognitive domains, advantages and disadvantages of using MCQs with appropriate examples. She also discussed the criteria to be followed while designing MCQs and how to design the alternatives with relevant examples.
The session was attended by 36 faculty members from Manipal College of Nursing & School of nursing. The session was interactive and informative.
