Report on the Mass singing of Vande Mataram

In accordance with the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC), MCON organized a mass singing of the national song Vande Mataram to commemorate its 150th anniversary on 13th November 2025 at 2:30 PM. The activity was conducted to foster patriotism and promote unity among students and faculty members. Mrs Shobha, SNA Advisor, delivered a brief talk on the significance of “Vande Mataram,” highlighting its historical importance during India’s freedom struggle and its role in promoting national unity and integration. A total of 132 students participated in the event with great enthusiasm.
Following the singing session, Mrs. Shobha appreciated the active participation and encouraged students to uphold the spirit of unity and cultural heritage in their academic and personal lives. The event successfully created an atmosphere of pride and patriotism among all participants.
