The session commenced with an overview by Dr. Tony Bewely, Adjunct Faculty at MCON and Honorary Lecturer at the University of Liverpool, London, who introduced the speakers and outlined the objectives of the session.

Ms. Karen Rowan Chalmers, a registered nurse currently employed in the UK, shared her experiences related to securing employment in the UK and highlighted the challenges faced during the assimilation process for newly recruited nurses.
